What if I live in Shelby and have a doctors appointment in Shelby? How is the rate calculated? First, it is a $15 external city surcharge, then just the metered rate for in town. For example, if the doctors appointment is in town it is just 4.00 plus 1.85 a mile. So probably around $20 for the taxi ride! Wow! In winter this will be a valued option.

Cut Bank to Browning $50 (Browning has a taxi service for in town transport. Out of respect please reach out to them first for in town to in town transit in Browning.)

To make a round trip booking please have dates and times ready at the time of booking. These services (round trip) get a 10% discount.

Please note if the driver has to drive TO an external city such as Shelby, Valier, East Glacier, Browning for pick up and is not already in that city there is a $15 fee added. For example: A person books a ride from Cut Bank to Shelby it is $50. If they prebooked the round trip (to and from) it is $90 with the 10% discount. If a person books a ride from Shelby to Cut Bank it is $65 ($50, plus the external city fee $15). If a person books the round trip Shelby to Cut Bank, Cut Bank to Shelby, the fees is waived and the total is $90. Basically, if the driver is driving a special trip to an external city there is a $15 dollar cost added for the additional miles of getting to the customer in the external city. This offsets additional costs to the company for the extra distance added just for pick up.

If a person needs transport IN Shelby (or Valier, Blackfoot, East Glacier etc) from two addresses this saves the customer money, as it is only the external city fee of $15, plus whatever the metered rate is in town (Shelby) from one address to another.
